The Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) in Patna, Rajeev Mishra, confirmed the arrest, stating that Kumar, who resided in Jackson Hostel, is currently under interrogation.
The victim, Harsh Raj, aged 22, was attacked and fatally beaten by a group of unidentified individuals on the law college campus of Patna University. The incident occurred as Raj was leaving his examination centre on Monday afternoon. Despite being rushed to the hospital for treatment, he succumbed to his injuries.
Investigation and Arrest
Following the tragic event, the Patna Police swiftly formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to look into the case. On Tuesday, they apprehended Chandan Kumar, who is believed to have masterminded the attack.
