Accident – Death – Obituary News :

(AP) – The Washington Commanders and Jacksonville Jaguars are currently embroiled in a legal battle following a lawsuit filed in civil court last week against kicker Brandon McManus. The Commanders issued a statement on Monday acknowledging the lawsuit and stating that they are taking the allegations very seriously. The Jaguars have also confirmed that they are aware of the complaint and are investigating the matter.

The lawsuit alleges that McManus sexually assaulted two women during a charter flight to London last year while he was playing for the Jaguars. The women, identified as Jane Doe I and Jane Doe II, claim that McManus rubbed and grinded against them during the flight. They are seeking more than $1 million in damages and requesting a jury trial.

In response to the allegations, McManus’ lawyer has categorically denied the claims, calling them “absolutely fictitious and demonstrably false allegations.” The lawyer, Brett R. Gallaway of McLaughlin & Stern, stated that they will aggressively defend McManus’ rights and integrity.

McManus, a seasoned kicker who recently signed with the Washington Commanders, has been in the NFL for a decade. The Philadelphia native spent the first nine seasons of his career with the Denver Broncos before joining Washington in March.

The Commanders and Jaguars are both conducting investigations into the matter to determine the veracity of the claims. Both teams have emphasized the importance of maintaining high standards of character and integrity within their organizations.
