According to ESPN, the two women, identified as Jane Doe I and Jane Doe II, have accused McManus of inappropriate behaviour during the flight, including rubbing and grinding against them. The women are also alleging that the Jaguars failed to supervise McManus and create a safe environment for staff serving the team. They are seeking more than $1 million in damages and requesting a jury trial.

McManus’ Defense

McManus’ lawyer has vehemently denied the allegations, referring to them as “absolutely fictitious and demonstrably false.” The lawyer, Brett R. Gallaway of McLaughlin & Stern, has stated that they will aggressively defend McManus’ rights and integrity, characterizing the claims as an extortion attempt.

McManus’ Career

Brandon McManus, who is set to turn 33 in July, recently signed with the Washington Commanders in March. The Philadelphia native has been a part of the NFL for a decade, spending the first nine seasons with the Denver Broncos before joining Washington. McManus played collegiate football at Temple University.
