That’s a reason. You took drugs. That’s a reason. You took alcohol, your brain is fried… Whatever it is.”
However, Sheindlin firmly believes that there is “never an excuse for bad behavior,” emphasizing that society should not tolerate criminal actions. She criticized the trend of making excuses for criminal behavior and urged for a more responsible approach to addressing crime.
