An 18-year-old who was reported missing earlier this month in Greenville has been found dead, according to the local police department.
On May 22, at around 9:30 p.m., Finn K. Sallmen was reported missing by a concerned citizen, as confirmed by the Greenville Police Department.
Initial investigations revealed that Sallmen was not a local resident of Darke County and had been residing in a wooded area close to the Shawnee Prairie Preserve. This was the last known location where he was seen by the citizen who reported him missing.

A search operation was carried out by investigators and officers in the area on both May 23 and May 24.
On Saturday morning, a joint effort involving investigators and officers from the Greenville Police Department, Darke County Sheriff’s Office, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol Aviation Unit was conducted at the Shawnee Prairie Preserve area, leading to the discovery of a deceased individual.
The deceased was later identified as Finn K. Sallmen.
The case is currently under investigation by the authorities.
