Accident – Death – Obituary News :

In a significant development in the car crash case in Pune, the local police have detained two doctors, including the head of the forensic department at Sassoon General Hospital, on suspicion of tampering with blood samples and destroying crucial evidence related to a recent accident involving a 17-year-old boy.

The two individuals who have been arrested in connection with this case are Dr. Ajay Taware and Shrihari Harnor. According to a senior police official, the arrests were made in relation to the ongoing investigation into a tragic incident where two IT professionals lost their lives after their motorcycle was struck by a speeding Porsche, allegedly driven by the minor.

Authorities believe that the teenager was intoxicated at the time of the fatal collision. Initially, the Juvenile Justice Board granted the teenager bail with the condition to write an essay on road accidents, which triggered public outcry due to the perceived leniency of the decision.

However, following a review application filed by the police, the decision was overturned, and the teenager has now been remanded to an observation home until June 5. The police assert that the teenager was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.

In a surprising turn of events, the police have also taken into custody the teenager’s father, a real estate agent, and his grandfather in connection with the accident. The case is currently being investigated by the crime branch.
