A 43-year-old Nigerian national, Paul Chizetere Osuaha, has been apprehended by the police in Lilongwe, Malawi, for allegedly being found in possession of 33 blisters of cocaine. The arrest took place at approximately 22:30 hours on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Area 49 New Gulliver in the capital city.

According to Sub Inspector Foster Benjamin, the deputy public relations officer of the Central West Region Police, Osuaha was busted by officers while attempting to sell the illicit drug at a location known as Pamowa. Subsequently, the law enforcement officials took him to his residence where a search was conducted.

During the search, authorities discovered 33 blisters of cocaine and K1 million in cash, both of which were promptly confiscated. Osuaha has since been charged with possession of a dangerous drug without a license and is set to appear in court in the near future.
