The Lynchburg Police Department is currently conducting an investigation into a tragic motorcycle crash that occurred at Central Virginia Community College on Sunday morning.
Authorities were alerted to the incident at approximately 9:50 a.m. and quickly dispatched officers to the scene in the college’s parking lot.
Upon arrival, law enforcement found a female individual who had sustained serious injuries as a result of the crash. The victim was promptly transported to Lynchburg General Hospital, where, sadly, she succumbed to her injuries.
The deceased has been identified as Marnie Monique Lacy, a 54-year-old resident of Woodbridge, Virginia.
