On the afternoon of May 25, 2024, Dodge County Sheriff’s Deputies received an alert from the Shawano County Sheriff’s Office regarding an attempted homicide suspect who had fled in a white Ford Focus hatchback. Thanks to a Flock Camera within Dodge County, the suspect’s vehicle was captured on USH 151 southbound, prompting a swift response from deputies and the Beaver Dam Police Department.

After a second Flock Camera captured the suspect vehicle on County Highway A, deputies successfully located the suspect on STH 16/26 southbound near West Clymet Road in the town of Clyman, Dodge County, WI. The suspect then engaged in a high-speed pursuit, reaching speeds of around 125mph and nearly causing multiple collisions along the way.

The chase continued as the suspect exited at STH 16 eastbound in Watertown, eventually coming to a stop on County Highway L where a foot pursuit ensued. Deputies managed to apprehend the suspect, identified as 31-year-old Jordan K Feemster of De Pere, WI. Feemster was transported to the Dodge County Jail on felony charges of Knowingly Fleeing an Officer and Recklessly Endangering Safety, as well as misdemeanor charges of Reckless Driving and Resisting/Obstructing an Officer. A Probation and Parole hold was also placed on him, along with multiple traffic citations.

Sheriff Dale Schmidt highlighted the commitment of law enforcement agencies in Dodge County to holding individuals who flee from officers accountable for their actions. While those who comply with law enforcement may still face consequences, those who attempt to flee will face additional felony charges. Sheriff Schmidt reassured the public that the majority of individuals who attempt to flee are ultimately arrested, underscoring the effectiveness of law enforcement efforts to swiftly apprehend these individuals.

It is important to note that all individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, emphasising the importance of due process in the legal system.

Assistance in apprehending the suspect was provided by the Beaver Dam Police Department and the Watertown Police Department, demonstrating the collaborative efforts of law enforcement agencies in ensuring public safety.
