Authorities in Anaheim are continuing their investigation into the death of a 38-year-old man who was fatally shot in a liquor store parking lot in what is believed to be a gang-related incident.
The victim, identified as Jesse Barragan, was discovered around 7 p.m. on Friday in the 900 block of South Anaheim Boulevard, according to the Anaheim Police Department. Barragan was found unresponsive with at least one gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
“Detectives are currently looking into the shooting, which they believe to be gang-related. As the investigation is ongoing, no further details are being released at this time,” stated the department.
At present, no suspects have been identified or reported in connection with the shooting.
