A 60-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with murder after allegedly stabbing a 32-year-old man to death inside the Walton Henwood Apartments in the Bronx on Saturday morning, according to police sources.
The incident took place at 1752 Walton Avenue, where officers from the 46th precinct responded to a 911 call for assistance just after 10 a.m. Upon arrival, they found the victim unconscious and unresponsive, with multiple stab wounds to his chest. Despite the efforts of Emergency Medical Services, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, identified as Jacqueline Ratliff, was known to the victim and was apprehended by authorities at the scene. She is currently facing charges of murder, manslaughter in the first degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.
The identity of the victim is being withheld pending notification of his family, officials stated.
