Accident – Death – Obituary News : Dexter, MN (KROC-AM News) – The Minnesota State Patrol has reported that four individuals sustained injuries on Saturday evening after two motorcycles collided with a deer on I-90 southwest of Rochester.
The incident, which occurred around 5:35 PM approximately a mile southwest of Dexter in Mower County, involved two motorcycles traveling east on the highway. The State Patrol confirmed that both motorcycles struck the deer, resulting in injuries to the riders.
Of the four injured individuals, two were transported to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester. They have been identified as 34-year-old Jacob Johnson from Emmons and 26-year-old Alexis Gullickson from Albert Lea. The other two individuals, 35-year-old Anthony Woodraska from Emmons and 36-year-old Maria Alvarado from Andrews, Texas, also sustained injuries but did not require hospitalization.
Johnson and Gullickson were taken to the hospital by Mayo Clinic ambulance with injuries described as non-life-threatening. The State Patrol’s crash report revealed that none of the motorcyclists were wearing helmets at the time of the collision.
