Roger Le, a resident of San Jose, has been charged with the murder of his mother.
SAN JOSE, Calif. – A 34-year-old San Jose man is facing allegations of murdering his mother, as confirmed by authorities.
In response to a report of suspicious activity, officers were summoned to a residence on Shadow Dance Drive in the 200 block of San Jose at approximately 10:47 a.m. on Thursday, according to the San Jose Police Department.
Upon arrival, law enforcement discovered an unconscious and unresponsive woman at the property. Tragically, she was declared deceased at the scene.
The woman’s son, Roger Le, was present at the location and was subsequently taken into custody.
Le was apprehended on suspicion of his mother’s murder and was escorted to the Santa Clara County Main Jail for processing.
The motivation behind the tragic incident and the circumstances leading up to it are currently subject to ongoing investigation.
The identity of the victim has not yet been disclosed.
