Emergency responders from the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, Marengo Fire & Rescue Districts, and Union Fire Protection District rushed to the scene at 10:13 a.m. following reports of a two-vehicle crash with injuries at the intersection of Route 176 and Union Road.

Upon arrival, firefighters noted extensive damage to both the Dodge Durango and the International dump truck involved in the collision, according to Marengo Fire & Rescue Districts Communication Specialist Alex Vucha.
