GENTRY COUNTY, Mo. — In the early hours of Saturday morning, a tragic accident occurred in Gentry County, Missouri, leaving one person injured and in need of urgent medical attention.
According to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident involved an Easy-Go Golf Cart being driven by Korbin L. Fletchall, a 20-year-old resident of Stanberry. The golf cart was travelling southbound on private property located two and a half miles north of Stanberry at the time of the accident.
During the journey, an occupant of the golf cart, identified as 23-year-old Greyson J. Juergensmyer from Westphalia, was clinging onto the driver’s side exterior of the vehicle when he tragically fell off, sustaining serious injuries.
Emergency services swiftly responded to the scene, with Grand River EMS transporting Juergensmyer to Mosaic in Albany for initial treatment. Due to the severity of his injuries, Life Flight Eagle was called in to airlift him to Research Medical Center in Kansas City for further medical care.
At present, the specific circumstances surrounding the accident remain unclear, with authorities yet to release any additional details or potential causes of the incident.
