The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has announced a significant development in a homicide investigation that dates back to last year. On June 12, 2023, authorities responded to a call about a man found lying on Eddy Road in Jacksonville, Florida.
The victim, identified as Dylonn Bealle-Veneziale, was just 23 years old when he was discovered with a fatal gunshot wound. Despite efforts by the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department, Bealle-Veneziale was pronounced dead at the scene.
Following the tragic incident, friends and family gathered to honor Bealle-Veneziale’s memory at a vigil. The community also rallied together, with organizations like M.A.D.D.A.D.S. joining the effort to seek justice for the young man.
After an extensive investigation, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office revealed that Cierra Marie Martin, 31, has been identified as the shooting suspect. Martin, who is currently serving a prison sentence for aggravated assault, was brought in for questioning and subsequently arrested for Bealle-Veneziale’s murder.
Described as a joyful and caring individual, Bealle-Veneziale’s untimely death has left a lasting impact on those who knew him. Friends have shared fond memories of him, expressing their love and grief over the loss.
