BOISE, Idaho — In the early hours of Friday morning, Boise Police were called to the scene of multiple reports of shots fired in the vicinity of W. Timathy Lane and N. Shamrock Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers conducted a thorough search of the area and discovered that two vehicles and a residence on W. Florence Lane had been struck by gunfire. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Suspects Apprehended

Following the incident, law enforcement officers were able to locate a vehicle believed to be involved in the shooting in a parking lot at Fairview and Five Mile. Three suspects were detained at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle was identified as Sammuel Silva, while the passengers were named as Irvin Rodriguez Soriano and a 16-year-old juvenile.

Weapons and Evidence Found

During a search of the suspect’s vehicle, Boise Police discovered a stolen firearm. Rodriguez Soriano was found to be in possession of an extended pistol magazine and ammunition that matched the bullets found at the scene on Florence Lane.

An investigation revealed that Rodriguez Soriano was responsible for firing the weapon, while Silva was implicated in disposing of used shell casings in a nearby trash can. The juvenile was identified as the driver during the shooting incident.

Suspects Arrested

All three suspects displayed signs of being under the influence of alcohol. Rodriguez Soriano and Silva were taken into custody and booked into Ada County Jail, while the juvenile was placed in juvenile detention.

Boise Police are continuing their investigation into the incident to gather further evidence and information.
