WINDSOR LOCKS, CT (WFSB) – An employee at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks, Connecticut, was taken into custody on Friday morning on charges of sexual harassment.
According to airport officials, the incident unfolded at approximately 8:20 A.M. when a female employee reported to airport authorities that a male coworker had been subjecting her to sexually inappropriate behaviour.
The victim recounted that while carrying out her duties, she was approached by the alleged perpetrator, identified as 41-year-old Ryan Gordon from East Hartford.
During their encounter, Gordon reportedly made unwelcome physical advances towards the victim, prompting her to quickly distance herself and resume her work.
Shortly thereafter, Gordon allegedly approached the victim once more, this time making lewd remarks that made her feel uncomfortable, causing her to vacate the area.
Following the distressing incident, the victim promptly notified her supervisor about Gordon’s inappropriate behaviour. The supervisor assured her that the matter would be addressed.
However, before the supervisor could intervene, Gordon allegedly approached the victim again, persisting with his suggestive comments and unwanted physical contact. Fearing for her safety, the victim left the vicinity, prompting the supervisor to escalate the issue to Bradley Airport Operations.
Subsequent investigation by airport security personnel revealed incriminating footage on security cameras, leading to Gordon’s arrest.
Ryan Gordon has been charged with 4th-degree sexual assault and was later released on a $2,500 bond. He is scheduled to appear in Hartford Superior Court on June 14th for further legal proceedings.
