A distressing incident took place in Eluru district of Andhra Pradesh where a 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a 15-year-old boy in her own school premises. The heinous act occurred on May 15, sending shockwaves through the community.

The young girl fell victim to the accused boy in a classroom when no teachers or staff members were present. The boy, along with four other individuals, recorded the appalling act and proceeded to blackmail the girl’s family.
Blackmail and Arrests
The perpetrators demanded a ransom of Rs 2 lakh from the victim’s family in exchange for not circulating the incriminating video. Unfortunately, the video was shared on WhatsApp, causing further distress to the victim and her family.
Legal Action
Law enforcement swiftly took action by apprehending the accused individuals. The minor boy was sent to a juvenile centre, while his accomplices, identified as Balasubramanyam (22), Chandrasekhar (22), Teja (19), and Harikrishna (20), were arrested and placed in judicial custody for 14 days.
