Accident – Death – Obituary News : The police custody of the individuals involved in the Pune Porsche crash is set to end today, May 25, Friday. Naman Pralhad Bhutda, the owner of Cosie restaurant, its manager Sachin Katkar, and the manager of Blak Club Hotel Sandip Sangle were remanded on Tuesday in connection with the car accident case that tragically claimed the lives of two individuals.
Authorities have been diligently investigating the incident, questioning the teen’s grandfather and friend to gather more information about the hit-and-run incident. In addition, a forensic examination of the car has been conducted to collect crucial evidence. The police are now focused on obtaining CCTV footage of the entire route taken by the Porsche car, from the juvenile’s residence to the restaurant, club, and ultimately the accident spot.
The Mumbai Crime Branch has taken charge of the hit-and-run case that occurred on May 19, where the minor collided his high-end race car with two IT professionals on a bike, resulting in their untimely deaths. To piece together the sequence of events leading up to the incident, the crime branch has summoned the accused’s grandfather, driver, and friend for questioning.
It has been revealed that the juvenile had reportedly consumed alcohol at Cosie Bar and Blak Bar before speeding through a narrow road in Pune, resulting in the tragic accident. Despite being granted bail, with his grandfather serving as the guarantor, the accused teen has been assigned community service and a written essay by the Juvenile Justice Board as part of his punishment.
In the midst of the investigation, the sessions court has ordered the father of the minor and two employees of Hotel Blak Club to be held in police custody. Legal action has also been initiated against the owner and employees of the bars where the minor allegedly consumed alcohol, as they are accused of serving alcohol to an underage individual, contributing to the circumstances that led to the accident.
The two young IT professionals who lost their lives in the accident have been identified as Ashwini Koshta and Aneesh Awadhia. The authorities continue to delve deeper into the case to ensure justice is served for the victims and their families.
