LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Authorities have apprehended a suspect linked to a violent altercation that resulted in a fatal shooting incident over the weekend in the northwest region of Las Vegas.

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department has identified the suspect as 29-year-old Keveon Glenn, who was taken into custody on Thursday, May 23, in connection with the shooting.

The tragic incident unfolded around 4 p.m. in the 7300 block of Prairie Falcon Road, located near the intersection of W. Smoke Ranch Road and N. Tenaya Way. Upon arrival, law enforcement officers discovered three individuals in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Two of the victims were promptly transported to a nearby medical facility for treatment, while the third victim, identified as 41-year-old Carl Chester, Jr., succumbed to his injuries at the scene.

The Clark County Coroner’s Office confirmed the identity of the deceased victim, while the two individuals who survived the attack are currently receiving medical care for non-life-threatening injuries.

Police reports indicate that the shooting incident was a result of a physical altercation involving multiple individuals on the street.

Currently, Keveon Glenn is being held at the Clark County Detention Center and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, May 24, to face charges related to the shooting.
