A 41-year-old man, identified as Clarence Johnson, has been charged with first-degree murder after a fatal stabbing incident at City Winery in Chicago, as confirmed by the Chicago Police Department.
According to CPD, Johnson faces one felony count of first-degree murder and one felony count of possession of a controlled substance in connection with the tragic event.
Clarence Johnson was taken into custody on Wednesday around 5:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of West Randolph Street in Chicago’s West Loop neighbourhood. Police identified him as the assailant responsible for fatally stabbing a 47-year-old man in the same vicinity earlier that evening.
Following the identification, Johnson was immediately apprehended at the scene and subsequently charged with the aforementioned crimes.
