Indore, Madhya Pradesh: A shocking incident unfolded in Khajrana police circle on Tuesday, as a 35-year-old woman named Urmila tragically ended her life by hanging herself at her residence. The family members of the deceased have made serious allegations against her husband, accusing him of subjecting her to both physical and mental torture over a domestic dispute.
Urmila, a resident of Khajrana, reportedly faced ongoing abuse at the hands of her husband, who would frequently return home in an inebriated state and physically assault her. The situation escalated on the day of the tragic incident, when her husband once again resorted to violence. In a desperate plea for help, Urmila contacted her brother and informed him of the abuse she was enduring.
Tragically, Urmila took the drastic step of ending her life while her husband was away and her children were playing outside. She leaves behind a son and a daughter, who are now left to grapple with the devastating aftermath of her decision.

Police Action Against Cruelty to Animals
Indore, Madhya Pradesh: In another distressing incident, the Azad Nagar police have registered a case against three individuals for the act of setting fire to a dog’s tail. The disturbing incident took place at Shiv Darshan Nagar around 7:30 pm on Tuesday and was captured on CCTV footage located near the scene.
According to the complaint lodged by Priyanshu Jain from NGO People for Animals, the accused individuals Vijay, Arjun, and Badal from Shiv Darshan Nagar deliberately harmed a defenseless dog by setting its tail on fire. The canine sustained severe injuries as a result of this cruel act and is currently undergoing treatment. The police have taken swift action by registering a case against the perpetrators under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code and initiating a thorough investigation.
