In the aftermath of the devastating tornado that struck Adams County, a family has set up a GoFundMe campaign to support the loved ones of the victim, Monica Zamarron. The tragic incident occurred when her vehicle was swept off the road near the intersection of Highway 148 and Joshua Tree Avenue during the violent storms on Tuesday.

Monica Zamarron, a 46-year-old resident of Shenandoah, lost her life in the tragic event. She was a dedicated employee at Southwest Iowa Egg Coop and was on her way home from work when the accident occurred. The coop has pledged to donate all tips from deliveries or any other form of assistance received for the rest of the week towards the funeral expenses of the Zamarron family.
