Authorities have identified the two individuals who tragically lost their lives in a house fire in Hancock County. The State Medical Examiner has confirmed the identities of the victims as Marie Robbins, 35, a resident of the home, and Ryan Devisme from Aurora.
No Ongoing Threat to the Public
While initial investigations raised suspicions about the cause of the fire, further testing is required by the State Medical Examiner’s Office to determine the exact circumstances of the deaths. However, officials have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat to their safety.
The incident occurred early on Monday morning at a residence on Old Dam Way in Great Pond. Emergency crews responded to a call about a house fire and discovered the bodies of the two victims at the scene.
