Srinagar Tourist Tragedy: Elderly Visitor from Madhya Pradesh Passes Away in Doodhpathri
An unfortunate incident occurred in the picturesque Doodhpathri area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district as a tourist from Madhya Pradesh, identified as Lalit Kumar Bandi, aged around 72, succumbed to a heart attack on Wednesday night.
According to a report by the Kashmir Scroll news agency, the elderly man, hailing from Indore, fell unconscious while visiting Doodhpathri and was rushed to SDH Khansahab. Tragically, the doctors at the hospital pronounced him dead upon arrival.
Following the necessary medical procedures, the body of Lalit Kumar Bandi was airlifted to his hometown for the final rites.
A police official confirmed that a case has been registered in connection with the incident, and further investigations are underway to ascertain the circumstances leading to the tourist’s untimely demise.
