Accident – Death – Obituary News :

The Beaverton Police Department (BPD) has successfully identified a road rage suspect after seeking the public’s help in locating the accused individual. The incident took place on May 17 on Southwest Murray Boulevard, where a young mother reported that a man on a motorcycle had verbally assaulted her and brandished a knife.

The mother, who was driving her children home from school at the time, recounted how the man, later identified as 33-year-old Joseph Lee, began shouting at her, alleging that she had cut him off on the road.

The entire altercation was captured on the woman’s Tesla’s camera, which showed Lee physically assaulting the vehicle by hitting and kicking it. At one point, he even pulled out a knife and threatened to harm the woman.

Following the incident, BPD released photos of the suspect to the public, requesting assistance in locating him. Thanks to a tip from a member of the community, Lee was identified and subsequently located by the authorities.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered that Lee was already in custody for unrelated charges, including driving under the influence of intoxicants (DUII), unlawful use of a weapon, and menacing and disorderly conduct. In connection with the road rage incident involving the Tesla, Lee has now been charged with additional offences, including menacing, disorderly conduct, and criminal mischief.
