Accident – Death – Obituary News : The Prince Frederick Barrack of the Maryland State Police has been busy making arrests in the past month. From firearm violations to possession of controlled substances, the officers have been diligently working to keep the community safe.

One notable arrest was made on April 11, 2024, when Trooper Miller conducted a traffic stop on a Honda Civic with expired registration. The driver, identified as Jefferson Peralta from Williamsburg, VA, was found to be in possession of a 9mm handgun without a Maryland concealed weapons permit. Peralta was promptly arrested and charged accordingly.

Another incident occurred on April 15, 2024, when Trooper Hernandez responded to a report of criminal trespass at the Fox Run Shopping Center. Arneisha Barnes, a 28-year-old female from Bowie, was found trespassing and asking strangers for money for alcohol. She was arrested and charged for violating a no trespass order.

On April 19, 2024, Trooper Miller conducted a traffic stop on a Toyota Camry driven by Deborah Wilson from Brandywine. Wilson failed a Standardized Field Sobriety Test and was found in possession of cocaine. She was charged with DUI and CDS related offenses.

In a more serious case of threats of mass violence, Trooper Dill and TFC. Kreczmer responded to a report of an assault in progress at the Magic Tunnel Car Wash. Brandon Robinson and Dorian Dickerson, both from Prince Frederick, were involved in the incident. Dickerson threatened to shoot up the car wash and was subsequently arrested and charged.

The arrests continued on April 22, 2024, when TFC. Bauer stopped a Toyota Rav4 driven by Melissa Quillen from Leonardtown. Cocaine was found in the vehicle, leading to Quillen being charged with CDS related offenses.

In a case of false ID and false statements, Tabot-Ntoung Marcel Tabe from Lanham was arrested on April 24, 2024, for providing a fake driver’s license during a traffic stop.

The Prince Frederick Barrack also dealt with a violation of a protective order by John McInerney from Huntingtown on April 26, 2024. McInerney was arrested for contacting the victim against the terms of the protective order.

Lastly, on May 1, 2024, Trooper Bennett responded to a burglary at a Shell gas station in Prince Frederick. Ronald Strain, a 58-year-old male from Prince Frederick, was identified as the suspect and arrested for burglary.

Additionally, there have been several DUI arrests in the area, with individuals from various towns being charged with driving under the influence.
