The Auburn Police Department in Alabama has apprehended a suspect in connection with multiple robbery incidents. The arrest comes after a thorough investigation into two separate robberies that occurred in the area.

Incident Details

Authorities were alerted to a robbery at a business situated in the 4200 block of U.S. Highway 29 South. Upon arrival, officers were informed by employees that a male suspect had entered the premises and demanded money, threatening to use a firearm. The suspect managed to abscond with an unspecified sum of money before fleeing the scene.

Following the incident, detectives from the Auburn Police Department launched an extensive investigation which ultimately led to the identification of 29-year-old Hamilton Ross Medley as the prime suspect in the case. A search warrant was subsequently issued for a property in Auburn associated with Medley.

Arrest and Charges

During the execution of the search warrant, law enforcement officers uncovered incriminating evidence within the residence that appeared to be linked to the robbery. Furthermore, Medley was identified as the perpetrator of a similar robbery that took place at a business in the 100 block of East University Drive on May 19, 2024.

As a result of the investigation, Medley was taken into custody and transported to the Lee County Jail. He is currently being held without bond pending further judicial review.
