Accident – Death – Obituary News :
The police have stepped up their presence in the Grants Pen community in St. Andrew, in response to a tragic incident that occurred at a local bar on Tuesday night.
Reports indicate that two armed individuals entered the establishment shortly after 11 PM and proceeded to open fire, resulting in injuries to nine individuals.
Tragically, one of the victims, identified as 45-year-old Farrah Anderson, also known as ‘Kimmy’, did not survive her injuries.
The remaining individuals who were injured in the attack are currently receiving medical treatment and are said to be in stable condition.
Senior Superintendent Shericka Service, who heads the St Andrew North Police Division, has stated that the motive behind the attack is still under investigation.
She is appealing to the public to come forward with any information that may assist in advancing the investigation.
SSP Shericka Service emphasises the importance of community cooperation in resolving such incidents.
