(KNOX) – In the early hours of Thursday morning, Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Office made three arrests following a high-speed pursuit that originated in the city of Grand Forks.

The incident began when a Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Deputy pulled over a red Dodge Charger for crossing the center line. The driver of the vehicle then took off towards South Washington, reaching speeds exceeding 100 miles per hour.

As the pursuit continued west, the driver attempted to evade the Deputy by navigating through residential streets. Eventually, the vehicle headed east on the 1800 block of 27th Avenue South, where it collided with a parked vehicle. The driver fled the scene on foot, leaving behind two passengers.

The passengers were identified as Deborah Fleetwood, a 33-year-old female from Carrington, North Dakota, and Destinie Rivera, a 23-year-old female from Pee-zik, North Dakota. Rivera was arrested for outstanding warrants, while Fleetwood was taken into custody on suspicion of felony hindering law enforcement.

Approximately two hours later, Grand Forks Police received a tip about a suspicious male in the area who was identified as the driver of the vehicle involved in the pursuit. The man, identified as Kyle My-shack, a 31-year-old male from New Rockford, North Dakota, was apprehended and now faces multiple charges.

Charges against Kyle My-shack include:

  • Felony Criminal Mischief
  • Driving under Suspension
  • Reckless Endangerment with Extreme Indifference
  • Refusal to halt
  • Fleeing a police officer while fleeing from a felony
  • Two outstanding felony warrants
