Accident – Death – Obituary News : A memorial service was being held in Bartow County, Georgia for Aimee Odom, a 21-year-old woman who tragically lost her life in a devastating car crash on Thursday afternoon. The incident, which occurred on I-75, also claimed the lives of four other individuals from the same family, including two young brothers aged 14 and 6, as well as their parents.

According to reports, Aimee Odom was driving her SUV when a Kia van collided with her vehicle, resulting in the fatal accident. The community gathered at Owen Funeral Home in Cartersville to pay their respects to Odom and the other victims of the crash.

Audrey Washington from Channel 2 spoke to Emma Mims, one of Odom’s closest friends, who tearfully described her as a “beautiful, happiest, bubbliest little girl” and an angel who was loved by everyone. Mims revealed that Odom was on her way to a graduation party at Mims’ house when the tragic incident occurred.

The Georgia State Patrol’s investigation indicated that the driver of the Kia veered off the road on I-75 northbound, crossed the grass median, and collided with multiple vehicles, including a Chevy Tahoe and a Toyota 4Runner. Odom was behind the wheel of the Toyota at the time of the crash.

The Mason family, consisting of Dakarai and Erin Mason and their son Brandon Crawford, also lost their lives in the initial collision. Their two youngest sons sustained serious injuries and were rushed to the hospital, where sadly, 6-year-old Titus Mason passed away on Wednesday.

Ally Gray, a friend of Odom, expressed her condolences for the Mason family and described the accident as a tragedy that deeply affected the community. Odom, who was an only child and an avid golfer, was fondly remembered by friends who wore pink to her wake in honor of her favorite color.

In remembrance of Odom, her family has requested that individuals plant a tree at the Etowah Riverwalk near Sam Smith Park, a place she cherished. A GoFundMe page has been set up by the community to support this initiative and help honour the memory of the lives lost in the tragic accident.

As the Bartow County community mourns the loss of these individuals, the impact of the accident serves as a reminder of the fragility of life and the importance of cherishing every moment with loved ones. The support and unity shown during this difficult time highlight the strength of the community in coming together to honour the memory of those who were taken too soon..
