TOWN OF ISABELLE, Wis. (WEAU) – Two individuals sustained injuries in a single-vehicle crash that took place in Pierce County, Wisconsin.

According to a recent press release issued by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office, the incident occurred on Thursday, May 16, 2024, at around 1:36 p.m. The authorities were notified of a single-vehicle crash with injuries on State Road 35 near 560th Street in the Town of Isabelle.

The press release reveals that the driver of the SUV involved in the crash was identified as 73-year-old Wolfido Doron, hailing from Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. Doron was allegedly travelling northbound when he lost control of the vehicle, ultimately colliding with the ditch.

Accompanying Doron in the vehicle was a passenger identified as 77-year-old Maria Fe Rosaldo Doron, also from Brooklyn Center, Minnesota.

Following the crash, Wolfido Doron was airlifted from the scene by Life Link Helicopter to Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where he is currently receiving treatment for undisclosed injuries.

Maria Fe Rosaldo Doron, on the other hand, was transported by Red Wing Ambulance to Red Wing Hospital Mayo in Red Wing, Minnesota, where she is also being treated for injuries sustained during the accident.
