Timarri Mason : “Teenagers shot in Petersburg: 17-year-old dead, 15-year-old injured”

PETERSBURG, Va. (WRIC) — A devastating shooting incident occurred on Tuesday in Petersburg, Virginia, resulting in the death of a 17-year-old boy and the injury of a 15-year-old boy. The incident took place at around 8:51 p.m. on May 21 in the 600 block of Cottonwood Drive, prompting a heavy police response.

Upon receiving reports of shots being fired, law enforcement swiftly mobilized to the scene. The situation quickly escalated to a person being shot, as confirmed by the Petersburg Bureau of Police. Tragically, when officers arrived, they found 17-year-old Timarri Mason deceased. Another male victim, aged 15, was also discovered with a gunshot wound, fortunately deemed non-life-threatening.
