Accident – Death – Obituary News : Three young Indian students tragically lost their lives in a horrific car crash in Alpharetta, Georgia. The accident took place on Monday while the group was driving along Westside Parkway, north of Maxwell Road.
The victims, all 18 years old, have been identified as Aryan Joshi, Sriya Avasarala, and Anvi Sharma. Aryan had recently completed his senior year at Alpharetta High School, while Sriya and Anvi were first-year university students at the University of Georgia.
The two survivors of the crash, Rithwak Somepalli and Mohammed Liyakath, are currently receiving treatment for their injuries at North Fulton Hospital. Rithwak is a student at Georgia State University, and Mohammed is a senior at Alpharetta High School.
Alpharetta Police suspect that speed may have been a significant factor in causing the accident. They are currently conducting a thorough investigation to determine the exact cause of the crash.
The tragic incident has left the community in mourning as they struggle to come to terms with the sudden loss. Sriya Avasarala was a member of the Shikaari petite dance team at the University of Georgia, while Anvi Sharma was part of the Kalakaar a cappella group at the same university.
The Shikaari group expressed their condolences in a post on social media, remembering Sriya as an amazing dancer and friend. The Kalakaar group also shared their shock and devastation upon hearing the news of Anvi’s passing.
Aryan Joshi’s impact was felt by his peers at Alpharetta High School, especially by his cricket team, who described him as one of their biggest supporters whose presence was crucial to their successes.
