Louisville, Ky. (WAVE) – A tragic incident unfolded in the Parkland neighborhood, where a 17-year-old boy fell victim to a fatal shooting.
The harrowing event took place on Wednesday, May 1, at the intersection of South 28th Street and Garland Avenue, shortly before 4 p.m.
Upon the arrival of law enforcement officials, they discovered the young victim who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds. He was swiftly transported to the University of Louisville Hospital, where, unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has now officially identified the deceased as 17-year-old Shawn’tae’veion Bullitt.
