Scott Herring : “Gun Threats in Somerset County: Man Arrested by State Police”

MEYERSDALE, Pa. — Authorities in Somerset County arrested a man on Tuesday after he allegedly threatened individuals with a firearm in an apartment complex on Large Street in Meyersdale.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, multiple reports were received regarding a man brandishing a gun and making threats towards residents in the area. The suspect, identified as Scott Herring, was reportedly agitating and endangering people with his actions.

Law enforcement officers attempted to communicate with Herring on numerous occasions, but their efforts were unsuccessful initially. Eventually, the authorities were able to apprehend Herring, who now faces a slew of charges including terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, disorderly conduct, and criminal trespass.
