Accident – Death – Obituary News : Peloton Removes Diddy’s Music Following Cassie Assault Video Controversy

In the wake of the disturbing assault video involving Diddy and Cassie, Peloton has taken a stand by removing the music of the Bad Boy mogul from its platform. The fallout from the incident, which occurred in 2016 at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, has led to a public outcry demanding accountability from Diddy.

According to a report by TMZ, a member of Peloton’s private Facebook group called for the removal of Diddy’s music catalogue from the fitness company’s platform. In response to the concerns raised by the member, Peloton confirmed that they have paused the use of Sean Combs’ music and have removed the Bad Boy Entertainment Artist Series from their classes.

“We take this issue very seriously and can confirm Peloton has paused the use of Sean Combs’ music, as well as removed the Bad Boy Entertainment Artist Series, on our platform,” Peloton stated in a response to the member’s post. “This means our instructors are no longer using his music in any newly produced classes.”

The assault video, which was obtained by CNN, shows Diddy grabbing Cassie by the neck and throwing her to the floor before kicking her repeatedly. The incident, which took place on March 5, 2016, also captures Diddy shoving Cassie down to the ground multiple times and throwing objects at her.

Despite the disturbing nature of the footage, the LAPD has stated that they will not be investigating the incident or filing charges due to the 3-year statute of limitations that applies to crimes before January 2020. In response to the release of the video, Diddy issued a public apology on his Instagram page, expressing remorse for his actions.

“It’s so difficult to reflect on the darkest times in your life, but sometimes you got to do that. I was messed up – I mean, I hit rock bottom – but I make no excuses,” Diddy admitted in his apology. “My behavior on that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted. I was disgusted then when I did it. I’m disgusted now.”

The removal of Diddy’s music from Peloton’s platform serves as a strong statement against domestic violence and sends a clear message that such behavior will not be tolerated. As the fallout from the assault video continues, it remains to be seen how Diddy will navigate the consequences of his actions and work towards redemption..
