The suspect, identified as Darryl Bernard Brookins, was taken into custody following the tragic event that took place in the Tallywood Centre Plaza parking lot. The shooting incident, which also wounded four others, occurred in the early hours of Saturday morning outside the Hookah Lounge Marrackech at 3:30 a.m.
The godmothers of Tommie IV and Brian Battie have launched a fundraising campaign on GoFundMe to support the Battie family during this difficult time. The initiative has raised over $94,000 as of Wednesday afternoon, showcasing the community’s solidarity and support for the victims and their loved ones.
