The shooting took place on Saturday, resulting in the deaths of Danielle Hines, 37, of Reidsville, and her daughter. Two other juveniles were also injured in the incident, but their injuries were not life-threatening.
Hines, who worked as a correctional officer at the Caswell County Correctional Center, and her daughter were pronounced dead at the scene. The identities of the victims have not been disclosed to the public. The two injured juveniles were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The suspect in the shooting, Anthony Lamont Siler, 36, tragically took his own life during a traffic stop conducted by the Alamance County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation into the incident is ongoing as authorities work to piece together the events leading up to the shooting.
