A 17-year-old boy, who was behind the wheel of a Porsche involved in a tragic collision that claimed the lives of two individuals in Pune, has been granted bail by a juvenile court in a surprising turn of events. The teenager, reportedly the son of a prominent builder, was released in less than 15 hours following the accident. One of the conditions set by the court for his release is the completion of a 300-word essay on the topic “Effect of road accidents and their solution.”

The juvenile court has laid down several conditions for the teenager, including submitting the essay, studying traffic rules, and undergoing counselling. The court has also instructed the boy’s parents to ensure that he does not engage in any unlawful activities and to monitor his behaviour closely. Additionally, the teenager has been asked to work alongside traffic police for a period of 15 days as part of his rehabilitation.

The tragic incident took place on a Sunday morning when the speeding Porsche driven by the teenager collided with a two-wheeler near Koregaon Park in Pune. The victims, identified as Anis Dudhiya and Ashwini Costa, lost their lives in the accident. It was reported that the teenager was returning from a party and was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
