Authorities in Garvin County, Oklahoma are currently conducting a manhunt following a dramatic high-speed chase that took place on Monday. The suspect, identified as Trace Prosise, remains at large and is considered to be dangerous by law enforcement officials.

Details of the chase

Sheriff Jim Mullett of Garvin County revealed that the chase began when deputies, along with Paoli and Maysville Police, pursued an SUV on Hwy-19, heading towards Pauls Valley. The pursuit led the officers through county back roads until the SUV ultimately crashed near Foster.

During the chase, Maysville Police reported that Prosise, the driver of the SUV, fired shots at them, escalating the situation and posing a serious threat to the officers involved.

Suspect at large

Following the crash, Prosise fled the scene on foot and disappeared into the nearby woods. Despite extensive search efforts, law enforcement officials have been unable to locate him, leading to an ongoing manhunt in the area.
