EASTON – Skeletal Remains Identified as Missing 25-Year-Old Man
Skeletal remains discovered in Easton earlier this month have now been confirmed to belong to a 25-year-old man who went missing in 2021.
Matthew Yeomans, a resident of Summer Street in Easton, was reported missing in September 2021. Recently, a homeowner living a few houses away from Yeomans found a human skull in a brook behind his property. Subsequent investigation by the police led to the discovery of additional human remains, which were matched to Yeomans through dental records.
At the time of his disappearance, Yeomans’ grandfather reported him missing after not seeing him for two days. Yeomans, who had a medical condition and was struggling with mental health issues, left behind his wallet and identification in his home. Despite extensive searches of the neighborhood, he could not be located.
The exact cause of Yeomans’ death has not yet been disclosed.
