Deen Mohammad : “Two Arrested for Killing 24-Year-Old in Ghaziabad”

Authorities in Ghaziabad have apprehended two young individuals in connection with the brutal killing of a 24-year-old man whose body was discovered in a drain in Tibrha village.

The victim, identified as Deen Mohammad, hailing from Meerut, was reported missing on May 15, prompting his father to file a report with the Modinagar police station the following day.

The suspects, identified as Taj Mohammad (20) and Puneet Gosain (20), were taken into custody near the location where the victim’s body was found, according to DCP Rural Vivek Chand Yadav.

Upon questioning, the accused disclosed the involvement of two additional accomplices, Nikit Gujjar (21) and Tushar (21), in the heinous crime.

Investigations revealed that a dispute between Deen Mohammad and Nikit Gujjar escalated, resulting in Mohammad damaging Gujjar’s vehicle in a fit of rage. In retaliation, the four individuals orchestrated a plan to seek retribution, leading to Mohammad’s abduction and subsequent demise at the hands of his former friends.

Following the murder, the perpetrators disposed of the victim’s body in the Tibrha village drain.

Taj Mohammad and Puneet Gosain have been remanded in custody, while efforts are underway to locate and apprehend the remaining fugitives, Nikit Gujjar and Tushar, as per the DCP.
