BARTOW COUNTY, Ga. — A devastating multi-vehicle crash in Bartow County has left a community in mourning after claiming the lives of a 21-year-old woman, Aimee Odom, and a family of three who were on their way to a graduation party.

The tragic incident occurred on Sunday evening around 6:15 p.m. on the southbound lanes of I-75. Aimee Odom, who was driving a Toyota 4Runner, was one of the victims of the crash.

According to Georgia State Patrol, the crash involved a Kia van that veered from the northbound lanes, crossed the grass median, and collided with a Chevy Tahoe and the Toyota 4Runner. The 4Runner was also struck by a commercial truck, and a Hyundai SUV rear-ended the Tahoe.

Tragically, the occupants of the Kia van, identified as Erin and Dakarai Mason along with their 15-year-old son Brandon Crawford, also lost their lives in the collision.

Friends of Aimee Odom shared that she was en route to a friend’s house for a graduation celebration when the accident occurred. They expressed shock and disbelief at the loss of a vibrant and generous soul.

The crash remains under investigation as authorities work to determine the cause of the tragic incident that claimed four lives in a single moment.
