LONDON (CBS) – Authorities have confirmed that four teenagers have been charged in connection with a robbery that took place on a CTA Red Line platform in Chicago on Saturday night. The incident has raised concerns about safety and security on public transport in the city.

The suspects, two boys aged 14 and 17, and two girls aged 14 and 15, were apprehended in the 0-100 block of West 95th Street just before 2:30 p.m. Following their arrest, all four individuals were charged with one count of robbery.

According to the Chicago Police Department, the teenagers have been identified as the individuals responsible for forcibly taking property from a 15-year-old boy while they were on the 95th Street platform approximately 30 minutes prior to their arrest.
