Woman and Paramour Arrested for Alleged Murder of Husband in Hyderabad
Authorities in Hyderabad took a woman and her paramour into custody on Saturday, May 18, following suspicions that they were involved in the murder of the woman’s 38-year-old husband. The incident took place in Rahapalli village in Asifabad.
The suspects have been identified as Chunarkar Kalavathi and Akkapelli Ravinder, residents of Rahapalli. The victim, Chunarkar Ravinder, had been married to Kalavathi for 16 years.
During police questioning, Kalavathi reportedly admitted to planning the murder with the help of neighbours. It is believed that the motive behind the crime was Kalavathi’s year-long extramarital affair with one of the neighbours.
The victim reportedly caught Kalavathi and the neighbour together in a room on Thursday night. Subsequently, he was found dead from strangulation, which was staged to look like suicide on Friday morning.
Following suspicions of foul play, the victim’s father lodged a complaint against the suspects, prompting an official investigation into the matter.
