Surajmal Bheel : “Chittor Tragedy: Man Kills Daughter in Horrific Incident”

Udaipur: A tragic incident unfolded in Chittorgarh, where a man reportedly killed his nine-year-old daughter following a dispute between his children regarding washing dishes. The accused, identified as Surajmal Bheel (35), allegedly twisted his daughter Radha’s neck in a fit of rage. The horrific incident took place in Sangesara village under the jurisdiction of the Mangalwad police station.

Details of the Incident

The Station House Officer, Ram Singh, revealed that the police were alerted by concerned citizens who caught Bheel attempting to secretly perform Radha’s last rites. Upon arriving at the scene, law enforcement officials discovered the young girl’s neck was twisted, indicating foul play. During the course of the investigation, it was established that Bheel was responsible for his daughter’s untimely demise.

According to SHO Ram Singh, the altercation began when Radha had a disagreement with her 11-year-old brother, which reportedly infuriated Bheel. In a moment of intense anger, the accused allegedly grabbed Radha by her hair and threw her to the ground, causing her to lose consciousness. Subsequently, he twisted her neck, leading to her tragic death.

Background of the Accused

Police disclosed that Bheel, a father of five children comprising two sons and three daughters, has a history of violent behaviour. It was noted that six months prior to this incident, Bheel had subjected his wife to severe physical abuse, prompting her to leave their home. Her current whereabouts remain unknown. Moreover, Bheel had recently engaged in a dispute with his brother, Amarchand, resulting in both parties filing complaints against each other at the local police station.

Residents of the village attested to hearing the children’s distressing cries on the night of the incident but refrained from intervening due to fear of Bheel’s volatile nature. However, their suspicions were raised the following morning when they prevented the accused from carrying out Radha’s last rites and promptly notified the authorities.

Bheel, who had been ostracized by the community for years, was known for exploiting his children as labourers and for his alcohol dependency. This tragic incident has left the village in a state of shock and disbelief, with many condemning the heinous act committed by the accused.

The police are currently conducting further investigations into the matter to ensure that justice is served for the innocent victim, Radha, whose life was cut short in a senseless act of violence.
