The family members of Sade Robinson, a woman from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who was tragically killed and dismembered in April, are convinced that a severed arm discovered at a beach in Waukegan, Illinois, belongs to her.
On Friday, the Lake County Coroner’s Office confirmed that the arm found matches the one that was located at the beach, as reported by Fox 6.
Images circulating online show both the victim, Sade Robinson, and the suspect in the case, identified as 33-year-old Maxwell Anderson.
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office has informed the family that the arm was found, but they are awaiting DNA results for official confirmation.
Dr. Erika Brown, a close friend of the family, has requested prayers for them during this difficult time.
According to investigators, the arm was discovered on a busy beach in Waukegan and an extensive search of the area did not yield any further evidence.
Remains believed to be Robinson’s have previously been found along the Lake Michigan shore in South Milwaukee, with additional body parts discovered in separate locations in Milwaukee County.
Anderson allegedly committed the heinous crime after their first date, and Robinson was last seen at his residence on the night she disappeared.
Anderson pleaded not guilty to the charges of first-degree intentional homicide, mutilating a corpse, and arson of property other than a building. He faces the possibility of a life sentence.
A memorial service was held for Robinson, where she was remembered as “an angelic spirit” by her grieving mother.
