Accident – Death – Obituary News :
The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is currently investigating a tragic motorcycle accident that resulted in a fatality. The incident took place on Courthouse Road, near Shirley Drive, in Effingham County.
According to reports, the accident occurred on Saturday morning at approximately 8:30 a.m. Deputies were called to the scene after receiving reports of a motorcyclist losing control while attempting to navigate a curve.
The victim has been identified as Richard Hardiman, a 54-year-old resident of Effingham County. Hardiman sustained serious injuries in the crash and was rushed to the hospital for medical treatment. Sadly, despite the efforts of medical staff, Hardiman succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
The Effingham County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Unit is conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the accident. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and loved ones of Richard Hardiman during this difficult time.
